According to Marcia Perry, Vice President of the Saugatuck Dunes Coastal Alliance, the recent announcement of a potential transaction for the south portion of the property at the mouth of the Kalamazoo River is encouraging. They remain extremely concerned about the fate of the northern dunelands which abut the Saugatuck Dunes State Park Natural Area.
