I’ve been studying the fantastic book Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard, by Chip Heath and Dan Heath.
The book is helping all of us at LandChoices clarify our goal of taking conservation subdivisions nationwide. The book teaches the importance of breaking our somewhat ambiguous goal into very doable and easy to follow baby steps.
Rather than reiterate what many people have written about this book, you can read a review of it on our friend Katya Andresen’s wonderful blog, Katya’s Non-Profit Marketing Blog.
We’ll keep you posted on our list of steps communities can follow to preserve land with conservation subdivisions once we have it completed.
